This course is designed for the supervisor interested in mentoring SIT's. The course is designed for the supervisor to understand the intent and philosophy of the program. The course will define the relationship between the sergeant-in-training and the trainer and describe the various training theories and training methods. The student will understand the importance of conflict resolution and appropriate communication strategies in successfully training new supervisors. Earn 4 hours of AZPOST continuous training credits.

This course is for new supervisors or for those that need a refresher on the basic procedures for creating timesheets in LOTS. This is a mandatory course for those participating within the S.I.T. mentoring program. This course must be completed before the end of the sixteen shift protocol.
