This course is mandatory for ALL new hire civilian staff. This should be taken within the first month of employment. (Civilian employees who have been hired in 2022 should still take this course).
The 2022 Bloodborne Pathogens course is mandatory for ALL Sworn Employees and Reserves, Detention Officers, Crime Lab Employees and Supervisors, Property Management Technicians, Police Assistants - in enforcement capacity. Any other employees involved in tasks and procedures where they may have an occupational exposure carried by infected persons, property, or evidence.
The 2022 Hazard Communications course is mandatory for ALL Police Department employees.
The 2022 Hearing Conservation course is mandatory for ALL Sworn Employees and Reserves, Police Assistants assigned to NIBIN, Helicopter Mechanics. Any other employees involved in tasks and procedures where they may have an occupational exposure to noise.
The 2022 Personal Protective Equipment course is mandatory for ALL Sworn, and any and all employees that utilize Department provided personal protective equipment during the course of their duties.
The 2022 Respiratory Protection course is mandatory for ALL Sworn Employees and Reserves, Police Assistants in enforcement capacity. Crime Scene Response, Helicopter Mechanics (Air Support), Police Safety Unit. Any other employees involved in tasks and procedures where they may have an occupational exposure to respiratory hazards.
The 2022 Emergency Evac course is mandatory for ALL Police Department Employees.
The 2022 Radiation Fundamentals course is mandatory for ALL Police Department Employees.
